For Prague, we downloaded a public transport app and each bought a 24-hour ticket. Shortly before our city trip started, we activated the tickets and took the train to the Old Town.

After preparing our own breakfasts for the past few days, today we're having a leisurely brunch. Our first stop: "Coffee & Waffles." Here we enjoy a selection of savory waffle creations – with bacon, salmon, and even pulled pork. Now that's what I call a perfect start to the day!
The alternative city tour with graffiti and steampunk
After a late breakfast, we head to the meeting point for our first tour in Prague: an alternative city tour focusing on graffiti, steampunk, and art history. We wait a few minutes in front of the Palladium shopping center, watching the colorful activity on the streets, before meeting our tour guide, Sany.
Sany, or Sandra, is one of Prague's first female graffiti artists, is committed to women's rights and works as a director in the non-profit film sector.

We visit legal graffiti areas (our fingers are itching to paint!), impressive murals, and the old slaughterhouse grounds, now brimming with art. Here, we wander through two galleries of abstract art, creative cafes, and narrow alleyways that invite you to work or find inspiration. We take a short break in a trendy hipster cafe, observe MacBook users at work, and soak up the relaxed vibe. Next door, we discover a shop with Patagonia clothing, skatewear, and outdoor gear—and, to our surprise, even a beer from our favorite Hawaiian brewery.
Our journey continues to a club – not for partying, but because it's one of Sany's favorite spots. The blend of steampunk, pub, and beer garden impresses us. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly people make this place special. To finish off, we enjoy a beer with Sany, chat with a Canadian, and learn more about her projects. A fantastic tour – thank you, Sany, for this special glimpse into Prague!
Dinner at Manifesto Market Andel

After the tour, hunger struck, so we visited the Manifesto Market Andel food court – a kind of container city reminiscent of London. Here, it's all about food. In the center of the market, there are plenty of seating options, and we feasted on a selection of international delicacies: American burgers with cheesy mac and cheese, mashed potato croquettes with Parmesan, and a colorful tortilla mix. We enjoyed our meal with beer and cider. The concept is brilliant: everyone gets what they want, and then everyone meets in the middle to eat together and have a good time. A definite recommendation for modern, international, and incredibly delicious food in Prague! The staff are attentive and keep the place clean.
Unexpected ending: Blacklight ping-pong & a visit to a pub

Our evening seemed to be drawing to a close – or so we thought. We spontaneously ended up in a blacklight ping-pong bar and then in a cozy pub. There we enjoyed our last beer before returning to the campsite, tired but happy. A perfect day in Prague!
