Dining in a tiny fishing village on Lanzarote: Casa Rafa Restaurante De Mar in El Golfo

We were at Casa Rafa Restaurante De Mar on the day we did a "mini road trip" through Lanzarote and we can confidently say: It was definitely one of the highlights!

We had to wait a while for a table, but then the service, drinks, and of course the food were excellent!
The fish was incredibly fresh, tender, and delicious – no frills, no cream, nothing. You could really taste the fish (in a very good way). The seafood was also delicious! The wine and beer were a welcome refreshment on this hot day.

After our meal, we spent a few more minutes in the village – by the way, you can also start a hike into Timanfaya National Park from here. However, we decided against it, as we had already planned our trip to the national park.

We recommend that every Lanzarote holidaymaker stop here at least once.
