We're spending a weekend with my cousin Yannic, his wife Laura, and their nine-month-old son Bruno. Our destination: the Moselle region, more precisely Wittlich. After arriving, we want to have brunch together – we choose Betty's Café. It's located in the middle of a new housing development, which is initially a bit disconcerting. But as soon as we step inside the small shop, we know: this place is filled with love.
Atmosphere with heart and style
The space is open, modern, and tastefully designed – exactly as one would imagine an ideal new café. Large windows let in plenty of light, and the furniture looks both high-quality and inviting. The feeling is instantly familiar – almost like sitting in a friend's living room.

The contrast between the new housing development and the stylish café makes Betty's Café a true hidden gem. It feels like you've stumbled upon a little treasure – a place you'd love to keep to yourself yet share with everyone. The service is warm and welcoming, the staff attentive, and even the children are greeted with a smile. Bruno happily crawls around the room, spreading cheer to all the guests.
A taste that lingers
I order the egg drop sandwich with bacon and the "Very Berry" smoothie. An unbeatable combination: the brioche is fresh and soft, the sweetness harmonizes perfectly with the salty bacon, topped with melted cheddar. It's the perfect breakfast, one I'd happily eat every week. Bowls and bagels are also on the menu – all fresh, creative, and prepared with love.
Practical tips for your visit
Parking is available directly in front of the café, and card payments are accepted. We paid around 77 euros for four dishes and drinks – absolutely fair for the quality and portion size.
