Hi, I'm Florian – travel blogger, photographer and bon vivant with a penchant for honest moments, real stories and the smell of freshly ground coffee in the morning.
On my blog, I share our travels – mostly as a couple, often in a campervan, sometimes with friends or family. I love capturing the little adventures that make a trip special: the first glimpse of the sea, spontaneous restaurant discoveries, magical sunsets, or conversations with strangers who become friends.
How it all began
My wanderlust was ignited a few years ago on a road trip through the western USA – together with my wife, then my girlfriend. Yosemite, Arches, Grand Canyon – it was more than just a vacation, it was the beginning of a new way of life.
After our wedding, we finally fulfilled our dream of owning our own camper – and since then, every trip has been a piece of freedom on four wheels.
Why I blog
I write to preserve experiences. I photograph to make stories visible. And I blog to inspire people like you to take honest, relaxed trips – whether to faraway places or to the next region with a good cup of coffee in tow.
My blog is my personal compass: for beautiful places, special cafes, charming campsites and those little everyday escapes that allow us to reconnect with ourselves.
From July 2025, a new chapter begins for us: we'll be traveling as a family of three! Our first child is on the way – and we're incredibly excited for all the adventures that await us as a little family. Our camper will, of course, remain our mobile home for the time being.
Traveling despite a full-time job?
Oh yes, that's possible. Even though I have a "normal" job with 40 hours a week, our weekends and holidays are firmly reserved for creating new memories. Traveling isn't a luxury for us – it's part of our everyday life.
