Witte Veen – Footbridges in the Forest Round trip from Alstätte

The absolute highlight of this national park, in my opinion, is the many Highland cattle that occasionally like to make themselves comfortable on the footpaths to doze. From a safe distance, this is an absolute paradise for photography enthusiasts!

While traveling through the Netherlands and the Münsterland region, we made a detour to the Witte Veen National Park, which lies directly on the border between the Netherlands and Germany. It was raining a bit at the start of our short hike, but that stopped as we walked the kilometer.
